When money is tight, "invest in yourself" advice is useless. You need ways to earn that cost nothing to start, because you don't have anything to spare.
This list sticks to that rule. Every idea below can be started with a phone or laptop and an internet connection you already have. No paid courses, no starter kits, no inventory.
One rule protects you from most scams: legit work never charges you to join. If an "opportunity" asks for money upfront, walk away.
How we checked: payouts and requirements come from each company's own pages, checked in October 2026. Nobody at Dollarberg has used all 20, so we link sources instead.
